Dark Slate Cottage Patio

This project involved creating a new patio area for a traditional stone cottage. The homeowner wanted something that complemented the character of the property without looking too modern. We selected dark slate paving that harmonised beautifully with the existing stone walls.

The installation included a built-in storage bench along one wall, natural stone edging, and careful drainage to protect the cottage foundations. The result is a practical yet charming outdoor space that feels perfectly at home against the period stonework.
